Procrastination, writer's block, staring at a blank screen or sheet of paper. These all are the problems that must be overcome. My universal phrase or idea is "well, that paper isn't going to write itself." This holds true, so , how do you approach this problem? It depends on what you are trying to write. And it is very different than procrastinating because you have no idea where to start. So, let's get to the practical tips I have found valuable, strategies I use to overcome writer's block.

Your starting point.
A smart way to start is to actively decide what you want to write. Are your creating a list of tips or product advantages, crafting a corporate mission statement, or trying to be truly creative and write a story or novel? Concentrating on a few key phrases or areas you wish to touch on will start you in the right direction. For this post, that means selecting the very best pointers and highlighting the techniques that provide exciting opportunities for creativity to blossom.
Analyze your thoughts into bullet points:
1. Determine which points are necessary to get across
2. Define your reasoning as to why they are critical
3. Decide which points are most important, order them from most important to least
4. Determine how to transition between points, find the commonalities and mutual ties. How do they build upon each other? Can they be made into steps, like a recipe?
Explore the following, which determine your writing style:
1. Where your writing will be seen and read (packaging, blog, etc.)
2. Examine the strength of your word power.
Look up similar words and use them to very your writing.
Switch up word selection. For example; powerful, strong, important, critical, and crucial can be used to increase variety.
3. If you can, make each sentence shorter.
Concise is easier to read. Common adjectives are better than elaborate, strange, or outdated phrases.
4. Leave bias at the door. Remember to write for your audience, not yourself.
Actionable tips to improve your writing:
The writing process starts with a blank page. By combing through the various thoughts and ideas you wish to describe, you can overcome writers block. The power is in starting.
