Anne Ink created advertising and brand packaging design that drew upon that strength of connection. The Detroit sports teams branded Germack peanuts was just the beginning of the grand slam.
The campaign with Detroit teams and Germack fresh, small batch roasted peanuts, both in-shell salted peanuts and roasted Spanish peanuts, extended to the Detroit Tigers baseball, Detroit Lions football, Detroit Pistons basketball, Detroit Red Wings hockey, and Notre Dame. Anne Ink created iconic CPG packaging for all these sports teams, using their official logos and team colors, featuring the Germack Pistachio logo prominently. Of course, Germack's fresh small batch roasted nuts were the star of the game. From Eastern Market to each home game, each venue and stores like Kroger and CVS sold the bags during the game season. They can be found today at Germack Pistachio's store in Eastern market on Russell Street and available online at QVC and the Germack.com website.

The baseball was retouched to add the logo; it didn't even really exist! Anne Ink took a simple photograph of a baseball and then layered and retouched the Detroit Tigers official logo onto it, old school in photoshop, before the days of AI generated and artificial artwork. The realistic effect of natural sunlight and diligent creativity is what makes Anne ink special, and what made Germack proud. The effect became so popular, the baseball with the Detroit Tigers logo was requested to produced for sale.
