Client: Germack Pistachio Company / Detroit Sports Teams
Detroit Tigers Baseball / Detroit Lions Football / Detroit Red Wings Hockey / Detroit Pistons Basketball

Project: Create branded peanut bag with Detroit Tigers brand identity (logo, colors) to be sold
primarily at team's sport venues (Comerica Park, Ford Field, etc.) and at the Germack retail store in
downtown Detroit's historic Eastern Market.

We also created the graphics for the Tiger's branded shipping boxes, and featured all four
team bags as the main graphic for an end-cap display placed in Kroger grocery stores.

The bags are also featured in ads placed in the Game Day Magazines for each team (Detroit Pistons
ad from the 2009-10 season, shown below). Ads began with the sport element being featured
(hockey puck, football, etc.) when ads were due, without the actual product yet available for
photography and placement. The first design was for The Detroit Red Wings, and with the completion
of the Detroit Pistons, all four teams are represented equally.

Components: Cello bag structure is wrapped, filled with fresh roasted in-shell peanuts
and sealed in-line during the automated packaging process. The hole punch and "open here"
starter slit are also part of the in-line process.
