Cranbrook Schools Annual Fund Appeal (2008)

Client: Cranbrook Educational Community (CEC)
Project: Brand the AFA (Annual Fund Appeal) with a logo and theme (tagline) to create
the appeal message, instead of changing the theme each year. We took photography, allowing only
one half day at each of the four campuses, to be included in the final layouts. (Campus photos courtesy
Cranbrook Archives). All photos required color correction, balancing and retouching.

Positioning: The logo was featured in the AFA campaign for the 2008-09 fiscal year.

The flyer shown is one of a series of 5, with each featuring the students for each school - Brookside
(pre-K through 5th grade), Kingswood (girls middle school), Vaughn (boys middle school),
Cranbrook (upper school) plus a "mixed" flyer for parents with children in multiple CEC schools.

Each flyer was also made into a 22" x 28" poster and placed in artists stands at the lobby of each school.

Alumni received a separate brochure featuring the logo and photos showcasing the campus.
